Windows 7 networking problem: a recurrence

A while back, I blogged about a problem I had with wireless networking on my Thinkpad T60p after it was upgraded to Windows 7. I thought I had fixed it, and in fact I have had no recurrence of the problem: until this afternoon.
Perhaps ZInstall is the easy way to move to Windows 7?

For me, the answer is definitely no, not quite.
Sure, I've given up Microsoft Office for Open Office (both in its Lotus Symphony guise on Windows and in its NeoOffice guise on my G4 Mac), I use Firefox for browsing 99% of sites, I use Thunderbird for IMAP email access and I use Freemind as my Mind Mapping software instead of MindManager, but there are some applications I can't get in open source form.
